I really don't like it when...

1. Our new kitty thinks its funny to attach itself to Zoe's hip while she tries to bat it off.
2. The kitty uses the litter box. I mean, I like that it goes in the litter box...but really don't like the smell.
3. I forget to check the mail...its going on 3 weeks now. Thank goodness for paying bills online. Maybe I'll check it tomorrow.
4. Its triple digit temperatures and no rain in the forecast.
5. I have to balance the checkbook after coming up with another great decorating idea!
6. I want to eat something but I'm not hungry.

I love it when...

1. I am able to clean my bathrooms (all 3 of them) consecutively! Well really, I'm happy I get to clean them at all!
2. It rains.
3. My kids show me that I'm doing something right.
4. My kids eat protein! Seriously.
5. My husband calls me to tell me he is looking through a second hand store for "project pieces" for me!

So is it tacky when...

You copy someone else's post idea? I mean, not their actual post word for word...but the idea of the post?! Make sense?

Things daddy's teach their kids

So my DH taught my daughter something I'm...well...not so proud of. When Zoe smells someone with bad breath she says "Ewwww, halitosis!" Great, isn't it?! And let me warn you before you come around...her nose is better than any blue tick hound.

Our Backyard Oasis

So this is a huge test of the Fair Family Times Broadcast System...I'm a little nervous to click the "publish post" button down there! Not really sure which pictures its actually going to broadcast! Yiiyiyiyiyiyiyi.
This is our lovely backyard oasis! We built the pergola, hung the outdoor light, and yours truly handcrafted the outdoor curtains for privacy! Great buy at Joann's...$3.00/yard!!

The other side of the pergola...we built a deck to add sq. ft. to our outdoor entertainment/living area!

I really had to share what my hanging baskets looked like before they died! Just so everyone could see that at one point I really did water them!

Testing the Fair Family Times

So I figured to give this blog thing a try. Seems like everyone is using it as a means to keep up with everyone else. To share funnies, cool things, things the kids say and do...etc. Lets see if my lack of creativity and humor (well humor that other people actually "get") can work on this thing!
